Friends from various tourist beaches are promoting strong campaigns against cigarette butts on the beaches.

This is the example of a river beach, in Nova Scotia, Entre Ríos, Argentina, they say so on their Facebook:

ALREADY INSTALLED ON OUR BEACH !!!

Cigarette butts are part of 13% of global pollution.
A single cigarette butt contaminates 70 liters of water.
We are not going to stop you from smoking but we are going to stop you from throwing your cigarette butts in the sand.

How to use it?

If you smoke, when you come to the beach you REMOVE a jar, you take it to your place. USE IT, when you empty it, RETURN it.
Do not throw the cigarette butts in the garbage can, then we will take care of collecting it and continuing with the treatment.

What should not be done with the jar?

Let children use it to play.
Please dads, control your children.
Take them home.
Break it.

WE HOPE EVERYONE CAN BE A PART OF THIS NEW CHANGE TO KEEP OUR BEACH CLEAN.
