Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that affects some parts of the face; characterized by a significant concentration of sebaceous glands. The pathology most frequently affects white subjects, especially those with a light phototype.
The term rosacea is associated with acne rosacea, but it is good to specify that it has no relation to acne itself, it is just one of the subtypes of rosacea.On some occasions, rosacea can cause emotional distress that results in isolation and exclusion from social life.
Types of rosacea
The skin tone is permanent red, the blood vessels are visible. Symptoms are itching and burning.
Rosacea papulus postulate
The skin is permanently reddish in color with pimples. This type of rosacea can be confused with acne.
This type of rosacea is characterized by redness and thickening of the skin leading to an alteration of the contours of the face. How to fight rosacea
A healthy diet and good habits are enough to fight rosacea.
The diet consists in the intake of lots of vegetables and fresh fruit: both antioxidants and cell regenerators, as well as full of nutrients and vitamins.
Among the vegetables are to be preferred: carrot, spirulina algae, isedanum and tomato. It might be a great idea to make a smoothie by mixing all the aforementioned vegetables
Garlic and onion
Onions and garlic are excellent natural allies for the care of our body: they have antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial and purifying properties.
It is therefore advisable to take a clove of garlic dissolved in warm water before having breakfast or before going to sleep. It is a real cure-all for your skin.
Hydration also plays a fundamental role in skin care. At least two liters of water are needed per day. If the skin is dehydrated due to a lack of water, it will dry out much faster and will be more prone to diseases and infections.
In addition to water, it is advisable to drink green tea after every meal or an aloe or tomato juice a day.

- Do not go from very hot to very cold places and vice versa

- Avoid the use of make-up, foundation or creams that contain alcohol.
Avoid bathing with water that is too hot and pat your skin dry
